There are many ways you can give to the Homewood Children’s Village.
Make a one-time donation or set up a monthly recurring donation through GiveGab, our online giving platform.
You can also choose to contribute with each paycheck you earn through the United Way! Share our contribution number, #10248896, with your employer to get set up.
Help Raise Awareness for Mental Health through the David J. Carter Memorial Carter Scholarship Fund. In honor of David, Westinghouse Academy High School seniors will be awarded $2,500 to go toward their postsecondary education.
Support innovative educational programs in exchange for a reduction in state tax through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program. Your company’s charitable giving becomes a low-cost gift when you redirect your state business taxes to a participating Educational Improvement Organization (EIO) like Homewood Children’s Village.
Contributions to HCV through the EITC program allow companies to support our K-12 out-of-school-time (OST) college and career readiness programming while also receiving a significantly smaller state tax bill. Because we believe all Homewood students should achieve academically, thrive socially, plan for the future, and succeed in school and life, we offer programs designed to create pathways to success. By supporting Homewood students from kindergarten through high school, they become engaged in learning and excited about their future at a young age, which they carry throughout and into their post-secondary years.
